Weekend Hashtag Project is a series featuring designated themes & hashtags chosen by Instagram’s Community Team. For a chance to be featured on the Instagram blog, follow @instagram and look for a photo announcing the weekend’s project every Friday.
The goal this weekend is to capture photographs of the first or last hour of sunlight during the day, also known as the golden hour. You can take photos of the sky, buildings, portraits of friends, or even inside your home washed in this light. Be sure to notice how the lighting is softer when illumination comes from indirect light and how it’s often a warmer hue, appearing more reddish.
